Woof
|
Book Summary:
Told from the perspective of a large shaggy dog adopted from a shelter at the book’s opening, this is the story of a stolen, stuffed, prize-winning marlin, and Birdie and Bowser’s efforts to solve the mystery. There are two more books in the Birdie and Bowser series, and a different series of mysteries about Chet and Bernie by this author. Book Review: Bowser is a great example of healthy growth mindset in action. It's possible some readers might tire of the viewpoint, but I thought it was handled well and overall, a charming guide through the story. While there is some danger, the book is a good fit for upper elementary readers. "A quote from Woof" |
