The is the true story of a sixth grader's path as she learns to distinguish between real and false friends, and figures out what's most important in life. This book is written in graphic novel format, and its sequel is called Sisters. Book Review: This book is a huge favorite with my fifth grade students. Painful in parts, it's also satisfying because there are many things to connect with about adolescence. Fast-paced and full of smiles, no matter what your dental situation might be at any given moment. "That was the first time my sister voluntarily hugged me, and the only time I've ever heard her pray."
