Book Summary:
Zach's father is always supportive, but he's often absent. One day, he doesn't come back. As Zach learns more and more about his father's secret life, he is drawn into a mystery that puts his life in danger and makes him question everything and everyone he ever trusted. Book Review: I liked the construction of the realistic fiction piece of this book so much that when the fantasy element intruded, I found it disappointing. However, it has a lot of components that appeal to many readers: lots of action, fast pacing, and an empowered young protagonist. "There's no way to fully explain what's in store for you . . . they don't ever give up, don't stop coming. Ever." |
