Book Review

Kate Messner has a distinctive style - she brings details to her characters (like relationships with family members) that aren't common to authors of books for this age group. This book is more about action than character development, though. While some content might disturb some readers, it's not as dark as The Hunger Games. Readers who like this might also like The Limit by Kristen Landon - it has a similar vibe.
