Space Taxi (series)
What would you do if every day when you woke up, it was your eleventh birthday? No one else seems to realize that Amanda is living the same day over and over again. It might seem like a good idea to have another chance to make things right, but Amanda just wants to make sure tomorrow won't ever be today again.
This book and its sequels have a number of fans. It asks readers to consider whether the small choices they make have larger implications. Although the characters did not especially resonate with me, the plot - like the movie Groundhog Day - presents some intriguing questions about our daily decisions and whether they really take us where we want to go.
The best discussion questions, of course, are generated by and contemplated by readers. These questions are designed to avoid major spoilers about the book, and to provide a starting point for teachers, parents, and student reading groups.
