Book Review

There are far too few realistic fiction books with Mexican-American protagonists, although I’ve worked with many students who fit that demographic. Lina is rebellious, a bit quick to overreact, and she nurses grudges, but she still manages to be a character you can root for: scientist, athlete, trying to make things better.
